SUCCESSFULLY HELD AT SHEVNERI FORT

ORGANIZED BY: LAZY RANGERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB

To celebrate the 390th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 19th February 2020, Lazy Rangers Motorcycle Club, with the support of other riding groups, organized a ride to Shivneri Fort, the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The ride was attended by more than 100 riders from Mumbai and Pune. The mission of this ride was to motivate riders to get together and celebrate the birthday of one of the greatest warriors & leaders of our nation by paying homage to his place of birth.

The message of this "Maha-Ride 1.0" and future rides and events organized under this name is to promote a culture of responsible tourism, especially amongst members of the motorcycling community. Members of the ride group joined thousands of other revelers to the summit of Shivneri Fort, to carry the message:

“PRESERVE OUR FORTS”, 

“RESPECT OUR HERITAGE & PROTECT OUR LEGACY”.

This celebration of one of our nation's greatest warriors is going to be one of many such events geared towards the motorcycling community.
